We traveled to California early February. It was zero when we left home and in the 60s as we flew into LA. We were picked up by Doug who then picked up Lois, and we all had a great meal prepared by Marge. It was like old times.

The next day, Tuesday, we did some sightseeing. We visited the Wayfarer's Chapel and other sights in Palos Verdes.

Wednesday was a spectacular day. We rented a car and headed north. Our first stop was the Getty Museum.

We stayed with friends in Morrow Bay Wednesday night and continued driving towards Big Sur in the morning.

We stayed Thursday Night at Deetjen's Big Sur Inn. Then Friday we continued north and spent several hours at Point Lobos on our way to San Francisco.

Our four days and five nights in San Francisco with Paul and Linda ended all too soon. We had a tight connection in Chicago, and we returned to the freezing weather without our luggage. Home less than 12 hours and then on the road to Boston. Vacation is over!
