Kate had an amazing memory for everything.

She always knew when her parents' anniversary was, what time the movie was showing tonight, and who they were meeting for dinner tomorrow and where.

She wrote all sorts of lists on pieces of paper and crossed things off when they were done. And in spite of writing down so many things, she could remember her lists with barely a glance.

Kate would probably know the numbers and PIN right off the top of her head. 

If he could find the fifty cents, a pen and small piece of paper, he'd look like he knew what he was doing when he called Steve.
