Claire's Pumpkin Bread

This recipe is from Claire Howorth, Shirley's mother. It makes two loaves.

2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup Wesson oil
3 eggs
2 cups canned pumpkin
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. each of ground cloves, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg
1/2 cup raisins

[The recipe doesn't say, but I would assume the ingredients are to be mixed together at this point. Maybe the dry ingredients should be mixed together first.]

Place in loaf tins that have been greased and floured.

Bake at 325 degrees for 60 minutes.
